Included in the Camra 2010 Good Beer Guide The Lord Nelson in Reedham is a traditional local pub based around good food and real ale. We have tried to create a comfortable homely environment where you will be made welcome whether meeting friends or on your own. The Lord Nelson Public House provides a good selection of real ales, there are normally real ales on five hand pumps and during the summer some good locally made Norfolk Ciders served from the barrel. This is as well as the wide selection of lager's, wines and spirits. Something to keep everyone happy.
The Lord Nelson also has a warm and inviting restaurant area that serves good home cooked food from curries to mixed grills. With a regularly changing chalk board you will always be able to find something of interest. There is also a good selection of lighter snacks that can be eaten in the restaurant, the bar area or on the riverside patio.
Situated by the Norfolk Broads on the River Yare, The Nelson pub is perfect for an evening or lunch time drive as well as being close to the Reedham Railway Station which is well served weekdays and weekends by the Wherry Line. The train service connects directly with Norwich, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft.
If road or rail is not your thing then float along to the free moorings. The Lord Nelson is close to a local shop, and post office. Which ever way you choose to come we will be happy to welcome you in.
We would also like to invite you to the Reedham Riverside Beer Festival which is held once a year in The Lord Nelson with over 50 real ales from around the country and local real ales from The Humpty Dumpty Brewery which is located in the village and can provide brewery tours, as well as beers from Wolf and The Green Jack Brewery.
