Reeham Duck Race is a charity event that is held between the Swing Bridge outside The Ship Inn and The Lord Nelson on the first weekend of the Reedham Riverside Beer Festival. The proceeds from this event go to Reedham Village School and the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

The race involves Plastic ducks being released to float down the river. Each duck corresponds to a ticket number and the duck that crosses the line first wins the owner of the ticket a price. You don’t even have to get wet just come down to the river and cheer the duck on.

The race will be held from 5.30pm on Saturday the 21st of August from Outside The Ship Inn. The first prize is £200. Tickets are £2.50 and can be bought to sponsor a duck from The Lord Nelson The Ship Inn Reedham Post Office Cupcakes Tea Rooms Reedham Stores Reedham Fish and Chip Shop The Vikings Social Club and the Humpty Dumpty Brewery.
